2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
3 tbsp raw papaya paste
1 ½ tsp salt
1 tbsp pepper
1 tbsp red chili powder
1 ½ tbsp besan (gram or chickpea flour)
5 tbsp mustard oil
2 cups plain yogurt
1 ½ cups fried onions
2 lb Ontario veal strips
Instructions:
Mix everything together and marinate overnight. Spread onto a sheet pan, pour 1/3 cup oil on top and bake at 300°F for 45 minutes.
Mix, add another 1/2 cup oil, and bake again at 300°F for 45 minutes until tender and caramelized.
Serve with warm naan, sliced onions and chutney as part of your Eid spread.
